About Jerome A. Shaw
Jerome A. Shaw, born and raised in Harlem, NYC, I was always the creative, driven and take charge type of person. I developed an interest in photography while traveling and going out with friends, but never really took it seriously. I worked on Wall Street for about four years and was laid off due to bad economic times. One may view being laid off as a negative thing, however, in my case, it made me realize that there were more opportunities outisde of the corporate scene. Thus, I was inspired to become my own boss. As an avid blogger, I was accustomed to associating photos with stories which influenced my photography. I have a photojournalistic style of shooting that captures the spirit of people, culture and landscapes. In every photo that is taken, a story is portrayed through the use of angles, lighting, scenery and candid shots. Hopefully, I can help to capture you and your special moments.
